Arizona Centennial Banner

Here is a fun Arizona craft to make and do a little Arizona Centennial decorating. The heart cut-out gives a little nod to Valentine’s day too!

Here is how you can make it:
Cut out the silhouette of Arizona and add a heart cut-out where Phoenix is.
Here is the silhouette of Arizona that I used in case you would like to make a template.

I have also included a SVG file for anyone with a personal cutting machine that can read SVG files. The SVG file includes the heart as well.

After the shapes are all cut out, you can run them through the sewing machine to make your banner.. I love this method for making banners. It is so quick and easy. I used turquoise and copper paper because Turquoise is the state gem of Arizona and Copper is one of Arizona’s 5 C’s.
I am using this banner for a Centennial themed Bunco night on February 14th. I can’t wait to share some of the other parts of the centennial bunco night.
