Best Wireless Plan for My Family from Walmart Family Mobile

As I mentioned in my post last month about shopping for the perfect gift for my daughter, we were looking for the best service with unlimited plans, but also the lowest price rate plan. This is my daughter’s first cell phone so we needed something with the best wireless plan with unlimited talk, text, and web at a reasonable price.

The Walmart Family Mobile plan along with the Samsung GALAXY Exhibit made the most amazing gift for my daughter.  Santa actually brought the gift that she has been begging for.  She’s been wanting one for months, but we finally gave in and thought it would be a great idea for to carry with her when she goes to activities without us.

We also decided to give her 3 months of service to see how well she handles this new technology.  Setting up the phone was super easy!  I jumped online to activate, but I think everyone was trying to activate their new Christmas phones so I ended up having to call it in.  Either way, the set up is totally painless and takes less than 5 minutes.

I love the look of total happiness when K found her phone from Santa on Christmas morning.  The phone plus service made the most amazing gift for her, but would make a great gift for anyone….a grandparent, a college student, a first cell phone for your child.

All I needed to activate the phone was the phone, the Starter Kit, and my driver’s license.  I was worried about how hard it would be since I’ve only ever had the store do it, but it was so easy and the website was very user friendly.  There were detailed pictures that showed where to grab the numbers I needed.

I really liked that I could put in my preference for the area code!

What I love most is that there is no commitment or contract!  

Since there is no contract, if it doesn’t work for my daughter, I’m not stuck with a 2 year contract.  But since I know she will do great then we can just pay month to month for her.  If you get a phone for grandma then you can pay for some months and grandma can continue the month to month herself!
