Fractured Prune Doughnuts – Always Hot, Always Satisfying

logo

East Valley Mom Guide was lucky enough to be invited to try out the newest Fractured Prune Doughnuts location here in Arizona. If you’ve never been, you are in for a real treat. I found my best doughnut ever at Fractured Prune and I am sure you will, too.

What makes Fractured Prune unique isn’t just that their doughnuts are always hot, but also the fact that they have 19 glazes and 13 toppings for you to choose from. If you find that overwhelming, don’t worry because they even have over two dozen specialty doughnuts already planned out for you to enjoy.  One of these, the OC Sand, was my favorite, as well as their most popular variety. Fractured Prune describes the OC Sand as honey glazed with cinnamon sugar. To me it was more like a warm snickerdoodle that was turned into a doughnut.  Amazing!

Fractured Prune OC SandThe doughnuts are made to order and hand dipped and topped right in front of you.

Fractured Prune M&M

Personally, I think it is the doughnut itself, and not the toppings, that make a Fractured Prune doughnut so amazing. The texture was fluffy yet substantial. It did melt in my mouth, but not too quickly. They last a while, even though they are hot. Take a look inside one of these masterpieces.
