Lost Dutchman Days: Fun for the Entire Family!

Lost Dutchman Days

Apache Junction’s biggest event of the year is happening this weekend. Lost Dutchman Days includes a rodeo, carnival, parade, live entertainment, and an awesome and a diverse vendor marketplace. There truly is something for the entire family to do.  Here is a rundown on what is going on this weekend (February 26-28). For a complete list including locations, admission prices, and other details please visit the LDD Event Page.

  • The Lost Dutchman Days Parade starts at 9:00 am. This is a fun parade and we never miss it it our family.  In fact, my husband’s mother had a heck of a time getting to the hospital when he was born because she had to navigate the road closures and parade traffic to get to the hospital.
  • The Rodeo is held daily 23-26 at 1:30.
  • The Lost Dutchman Days Carnival features over 30 rides and carnival events.  The carnival runs from 3:00 – 11:00 pm Friday, 9:00 am – 11:00 pm Saturday, and from 11:00 am – 6:00 pm on Sunday.
  • The Lost Dutchman Days Arts & Crafts Fair is Saturday from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Come on out to Apache Junction this weekend for a great time and some good old-fashioned fun. Maybe you will even find the Lost Dutchman’s gold mine.  Oh, and if you see me, be sure to say hello.
