Mamma Mia: Fun Mother Daughter Date

This post is in partnership with ASU Gammage.

Mamma Mia! is in town this week and it’s the perfect mother-daughter date.  If you have a teen or older daughter…grab her and go!

I wouldn’t say this musical is the best show ever, but it was fun and everyone enjoyed it.  The music was, of course, from ABBA and there was quite a bit of spandex.  There was one part where the conductor…yes the actual orchestra conductor…is involved with the show.

If you decide to take your daughter please know that this show should probably have a PG-13 rating for sexual innuendo and adult subject matters. My daughter is 12 and there were a couple times I wish she hadn’t been there, but I know some of it went over her head too. She loved it anyway and I’m glad she went with me.

Warning: Don’t leave at the end. Stay until after actors take a bow.  You’ll be glad you did!!!
