Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak

Welcome to Day 2 of the East Valley Mom Guide Staycation series! My family had the pleasure of staying at the Point Hilton Squaw Peak in Phoenix. I have a six year old and a four year old. From the moment we got there, until the second we left they just wanted to swim!

I am getting ahead of myself though, first I want to show you our amazing room! We stayed in a two room bi-level casita. In addition to two bedrooms, it had a living area, a kitchen with a full refrigerator and microwave, and a private patio balcony. We enjoyed our breakfast on the patio and it was fantastic.

My kids were so funny with each of them sleeping in their own Queen size bed. They looked so tiny in their big beds.

Like I was saying before, the main attraction for my family was the swimming. The Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak pretty much has it’s own water park called the River Ranch. There are multiple pools, a water slide, lazy river, waterfall, a hot tub, and that’s just inside the River Ranch. There are other pools on the property including a deeper pool for lap swimming in the fitness center.

Our favorites were the lazy river, the tot pool, and the waterfall.

There are three different restaurants on the property: Rico’s American Grill, Slim Pickin’s, and Hole-in-the-Wall. Slim Pickin’s is actually inside the River Ranch and Hole-in-the-Wall is right next door. We were lucky enough to have the opportunity to eat at Hole-in-the-Wall and try out their backyard feast. If you want to know about our meal, you can check out my main blog: Cute As A Fox. I will give you a teaser though, we finished our amazing meal with these:

We spent all our time eating and swimming but the Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak has many more activities to do and places to visit like:

The Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak had amazing customer service and hospitality. Everywhere we went and everything we did was just amazing. I am already begging the husband to plan another trip back. The Pointe Hilton resorts are having a Suite Summer Getaway package starting at just $109 a night for the Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak. If you want to try out the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs, those rates start at just $89 a night. These deals run through September 8, 2012 so there is plenty of time to plan your own trip to one of the Pointe Hilton resorts. For more information about the resort and to book your trip you can visit their website, Facebook page, or Twitter.

Thanks for having us Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak! We can’t wait to come back again soon.

Disclaimer: My family was provided with a complimentary stay at Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak as part of the staycation series on East Valley Mom Guide. Neither I or EVMG were compensated for this post. All opinions and enthusiastic reactions are 100% my own.
