Central Christian Church will be lighting up the Gilbert skies for the Fourth of July with this year’s annual “Fire in the Sky” event. This is not just a few sparklers and bottle rockets, but a full-blown display to dazzle the senses and celebrate our Independence Day.
As we celebrate our nation, we are always mindful of the less fortunate who live in our communities – those whose greatest wish is a full stomach. Donations of nonperishable food items are again being collected at the annual “Fire in the Sky.” With support from the Town of Gilbert, this year’s display has two off-site viewing locations listed at the bottom of this release. Food drive donations will be collected at all 3 sites – Central Christian Church’s Gilbert Campus, Campo Verde High School & the Gilbert Soccer Complex.
This free event will launch from Central’s Gilbert campus on the southeast corner of Lindsay and Germann Road.
