It’s no secret that my husband loves Mexican food and will usually make dinner requests for something spicy. One thing I like to have on hand in my pantry is Old El Paso taco seasoning. I can add it to whatever meat or veggie crumbles I have on hand and throw together a pretty quick dinner. Sometimes I will add it to ranch dressing or sour cream for a nice southwestern salad.
I recently had the chance to try Old El Paso Fajita Dinner Kit and was pretty happy at how easy it was to put dinner on the table. We went to our favorite Farmer’s Market and my kids each picked out bell peppers- red for my 5 yo, and green for my 3 yo. We had fun cutting them into strips and crunching on the different colors. Of course my sons each said theirs was better.
This week I am making a veggie taco salad. It’s super easy and there is something for everyone. I used my chopping & storage set to prep everything ahead. It is also really nice for pickier eaters so they can choose what toppings they want.
