My daughters preschool recently had a field trip to Jambo! Indoor Amusement Park and I wanted to share my experience with anyone that may be curious about what Jambo! has to offer.
Jambo has two locations, we went to the Mesa location at Alma School and Guadalupe Rd. If that location sounds familiar, that is because Jambo! was formerly Jeepers and Jungle Jim’s Playland. I have been once before when it was Jungle Jim’s Playland and all of the rides and equipment are the same, except for the addition of a large bounce house.
Jambo has a wide variety of activities to do. In the collage below you can see:

- HUGE Climbing Area
- Safari Train
- Spinning Cups
- Mini Roller Coaster
- Carousel
- Bumper Cars
- Spinning Barrel Ride

Our experience at Jambo! was overall good. I have seen some big improvements from my last visit when it was still Jungle Jim’s Playland. Here is what we really liked:
- The bounce house was a good addition and the kids really loved it.
- The huge climbing area was a lot of fun. There were lots of tunnels and slides to explore.
- The bathrooms were clean and well maintained.
- The group rate was extremely affordable. The party prices seem very reasonable as well.
- I really enjoyed the Jungle theme throughout, especially this lion drinking fountain.
I still feel like Jambo! has a way to go to make it a top rate family destination.
- The carousel was out of order. It was a huge disappointment to a bunch of 3-5 year old kids.
- They only have a few employees that rotate from ride to ride. Meaning that if you want to ride an unattended ride you have to track someone down, wait for them to get through all the kids wanting to ride that attraction, and then have them come over and open the new ride.
- I felt like the staff could have been a little more friendly. They were never rude, but a smile or two would have gone a long way in making the whole experience better in my opinion.
