Street Eats – Food Truck Festival

Salt River Fields in Scottsdale is presenting the first ever StreetEats, a gourmet food truck festival. I love watching cooking shows and food competition shows, but I am in no way what you might call a foodie. However, I am SO excited to go out and try all the delicious food from the food trucks. Not to mention Food Network host Tyler Florence will be there too. 
Here are the details for the big event:

Date: Saturday, January 14, 2012
Time: 10am – 5pm
Location: Salt River Fields at Talking stick – Loop 101 and Indian Bend Rd
Cost: Tickets are only $10and available at the door, online at www.SaltRiverFields.com or by phone1.888.490.0383. At the event, guests can purchase $2 vouchers that act as currencywith the featured food trucks. Each truck will offer sample-size and full-sizeportions of their specialties in exchange for Street Eats vouchers.

In addition to the 25 food trucks there will be food demonstrations and entertainment for the whole family.

Salt River Fields is also the home of spring training for the Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies. Spring Training tickets go on sale January 14th. Baseball ticketbuyers will receive exclusive FREE admission to Street Eats with a SpringTraining ticket purchase at the Home Plate Box Office on the west side of SaltRiver Fields.  Ticket buyers will haveaccess to the venue itself to traverse directly to the Center Field parking lotfor their FREE entry with a ticket purchase.
