Calling all Foodies! This movie is for you and for anyone who loves a good comedy. Combining my two favorites…food plus comedy…I was in food porn heaven! Chef was written and directed by JonFavreau, who also starred as Chef Carl. The all-star cast was the perfect pairing for a tasty comedy.
When Chef Carl Casper (Jon Favreau) quits his job on a whim, at a prominent LA restaurant, after refusing to compromise his creativity for the controlling owner (Dustin Hoffman), he has to figure out what’s next for him. He finds himself in Miami where he teams up with his ex-wife (Sofia Vergara), his friend (John Leguizamo), and his son to start a food truck biz. They all hit the road and Chef Carl goes back to his roots to reignite his passion for the kitchen, delicious food — and zest for life and love.

This movie is far from kid friendly, but it is so funny! Find a sitter and go out on a date with your sweetie, but make sure you have a good dinner before you see it…you will leave starving after seeing all the wonderful food.
Chef is rated R and is in theaters beginning 5/16/14!
