Disney on Ice presents 100 years of Magic is currently at US Airways Center and there are shows through Sunday. I have a discount code at the bottom of the post…so keep reading!
I was able to attend Thursday night’s show with my kids. We loved it! It was nice to see a show that was more than just Princesses. Oh, I’m not saying they weren’t there, my daughter loved that part. But the fact that there was Pinocchio and It’s a Small World and a small Electrical Light Parade cameo was really nice. Finding Nemo, Aladain, Toy Story, Lilo & Stitch, Mulan, and of course Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Donald were there too.
My favorite was the It’s a Small World act. The costumes were amazing and the music and skating that represented the different countries was great. It was such a nice change from the traditional Disney on Ice shows that feature only a couple of the new movies/shows.
I only have one small complaint….the skating in this show was not the greatest. One guy fell several times and there were a few others that just didn’t seem to be enjoying what they doing. I was a little disappointed, but the kids didn’t notice. Despite the skating we still had a great time and I’m sure we will make it to many more Disney on Ice shows.
