If you are looking for a fun family night out, look no further; grab your tickets to Disney on Ice, Worlds of Fantasy, at US Airways in Phoenix. We got to go backstage and meet the Disney Crew and Cast including Minnie and Mickey themselves! Super great to grab some autographs and take some photos. We painted race cars and all kids lined up to race their cars in the Piston Cup Race! We were then treated to a nice dinner as well as games and a play land before heading off to watch the big show!
So many beautiful colors and fantastic lighting and costumes the kids in the audience were in awe. The skating was breathtaking, I often wondered how the managed to skate in these amazing large costumes. There were incredible acts from Lighting McQueen, Mater, and the Car Crew from the movie Cars. An amazing underwater world was created when the Little Mermaid took stage. Flounder, Sebastian, and my favorite Ursula were just a few characters to take part in the under the sea magic. The ambience was simply beautiful!
Little hearts melted when Tinkerbelle and the Disney fairies took the Ice. Lots of magic and flying, and don’t forget the Pixie Dust! So Magical!
The final act, which was our favorite, was from Toy Story. So many great cast members; Barbie and Ken were a hoot. The Toy Soldiers danced their way across the ice and marched into modern formations up and down some great props to recreate scenes from Sunnyside Daycare. More characters such as Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear, Slinky Dog, Jessie, and how could we forget Andy put on a heartfelt show recreating scenes from the Toy Story 3 Movie.
Disclaimer: I received complimentary tickets for my promotion of the event.
