We had so much fun last night at the new Disney On Ice presents Disney•Pixar’s Toy Story 3. It was amazing and one of the better ones we’ve seen.
The characters were so animated and I’ve never seen them actually communicate with the crowd before. Woody, Jessie, and Buzz would wave, smile, or wink at the kids when they were near. My son’s favorite part was the GI Joes. They really did come to life. My daughter loved the exercising Barbies, and hubbyman and I loved when Ken had his fashion show. Hubbyman said, “there was a little something for everyone.”
I’ve been attending these shows since I was little, the first I can remember is the Smurfs (though I don’t think that was a Disney production). It never ceases to amaze me how Disney can bring these shows to life. Watching the joy and amazement on my children’s faces was priceless!
My only complaint was that it started so late on a school night. The show was over around 9:30 and so we didn’t get home until after 10pm. On the other hand, because it started so late, my husband was able to go with us.
There is still time for you to make one of the shows before it leaves town. And I have a coupon code to share too!
