Frozen 2 Movie Review {Spoiler Free}

This Friday, November 22, 2019 Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Sven, and Olaf return to theaters for an all new adventure in Disney’s Frozen 2.

It’s no shock that Disney brought back this family from Arendale since it was highest grossing animated film of all time.  What I love most about this story is that it is a story about the sisters and how they have to work together and the same holds true in Frozen 2.

The story in Frozen 2 just isn’t the typical fairy tale-type story.  They go an adventure to uncover the truth surrounding Elsa’s magical powers. You’ll see old friends and meet new ones too.  The parents play a bigger role in Frozen 2 as well.

If you are a Kristoff fan, then you will be happy to know he has a bigger part in this movie and has his own full length song.  Parents will get a kick out it.  Since he has a larger role in Frozen 2, it’s great for little boys and so it’s not just a girly princess movie.

About Frozen 2

Why was Elsa born with magical powers? The answer is calling her and threatening her kingdom. Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, she’ll set out on a dangerous but remarkable journey. In “Frozen,” Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world. In “Frozen 2,” she must hope they are enough.

You don’t have to have seen the first movie necessarily to enjoy the 2nd one; but in case you want a refresher…grab a copy here.  Also, pretty much every little girl that has gone to see the movie has dress up…check out these cute options for your little Elsa or Anna.

My final thoughts were that it was a great continuation of the first movie.  You’ll learn more about the family and enjoy the back story in the sequel.  Adults will love it. Kids will love it. And if they weren’t frightened in the first movie, then they should be fine with this one.

But….stay until the VERY end for a stinger (scene after the credits).  You don’t want to miss it.

Frozen II opens nationwide Friday (11/22/19)!
