Our cell phone contract is up and we’ve been searching for a service provider with great unlimited plans, but we also wanted the lowest price rate plan as well. When we get our new plan, we plan on getting a third phone and line for our daughter as a Christmas gift this year. It’s going to be the perfect gift for her…she is dying to get a phone.
Last week, I was shopping at Walmart and decided to stop by and check out the plans and phones in the electronics department. I was super excited to see that Walmart Family Mobile has unlimited plans and they are one of the lowest price rate plans I’ve found. This week {and Black Friday} is the perfect time to pick up a new phone and starter kit…just like I did. I ended up picking up the Samsung Galaxy Exhibit 4G and the $25 starter kit and spend only about $125 on what will be an awesome gift! It’s a great deal for me {the gift giver} and a great money saving option for anyone who receives it {since plans are only around $40/month for unlimited talk, text, and web}.
Hubbyman and I decided that our daughter is finally old enough for a cell phone. She’s not going to be carrying it around with her all the time, but rather when she is at a friend’s house or at Girl Scouts or a birthday party. It’s time she start learning how to really use a phone and text people. She is going to totally flip out when she opens this Christmas morning!
The sales associate was so helpful and informative. He grabbed everything I needed and walked me through the whole process. I was able to quickly grab what I needed, but I didn’t set it up yet. I’m waiting until right before Christmas so that I’m not wasting any money on an unused month of service.
I found this handy guide inside the flyer. The coverage area is great and I know my daughter will be able to talk our family members all over the country with no problems at all.
The hardest part will be keeping this secret gift for my daughter until Christmas! She has no idea that she is getting a phone, but she wants one so bad. It’s going to be the best Christmas gift EVER for her.
