I have a small confession to make – I love the circus.
I don’t know what it is, but I love the magical feel of the circus.
I was privileged enough to attend Cirque de Soleil a couple years ago and while I have yet to find something that lives up to it – I’m excited to attend Circus Vargas – which from the looks of the website, may be the closest I’m going to get to the real Cirque.

Circus Vargas has hand balancing, clowns (but not the scary, full make-up clowns!), aerial straps, wheel of death (definitely a breath holding, amazing act!), juggling, tramp-o-wall, Iron Jaw Jon Weiss, music and dance, magic, and Flying Tabares!
It sounds like a fantastic show and the best part is – Circus Vargas is coming to Arizona!
Circus Vargas will be at the Desert Sky Mall in Phoenix Thursday October 30th through Monday November 3rd with nightly shows at 7pm, as well as 1pm and 4pm shows on the weekend.
They continue to Mesa at Superstition Springs Thursday, November 6th through Monday, November 10th with nightly 7pm shows (except Friday and Saturday are 7:30pm). Weekend shows are at 1pm and 4pm with an additional 4:30pm show on Friday.
They will end their Arizona run at The Pavilions at Talking Stick in Scottsdale Thursday, November 13th through Monday, November 24th (except Tuesday, November 18th). Show times vary between 7pm and 7:30pm with 1pm and 4pm shows on the weekend plus an additional 4:30pm showing on Friday, November 21st.

Ticket prices range from $25.00 to $65.00 for adults, and $15.00 to $55.00 for children ages 2 to 10 years old.
