Coyote Coupon Book Review

When I received a copy of The Coyote Coupon Book to review, I knew our family would be going on many discounted adventures together.  You won’t believe all the great coupons in this local coupon book…we saved a lot of money on our recent family outing.  Growing up in Arizona I remember a fifth grade class field trip to the Goldfield Ghost Town, a historic mining town established in 1893.  I was excited to take my husband and four year old daughter to the Ghost Town with savings from the coupon book.

With several coupons included to use at the GoldField Ghost Town, my family was able to have a fun day exploring the exciting attraction I experienced as a child.

The GoldField Ghost Town is rich in history.  In the 1890’s, the town was booming but when the price of gold fell the town slowly stopped growing.  After several unsuccessful attempts to reopen the mine, the town is now a great historical landmark for visitors to experience the excitement of Arizona’s Wild West.

The attraction has enough activities to keep your family busy for the entire day.  We enjoyed walking down Main Street and looking at the shops and historic buildings.

Our day at the ghost town wouldn’t be complete with out a tour of the mine.  The mine tour is approximately 25 minutes and takes you underground to learn about the town and gold mining procedures.  We used a coupon from the Coyote Coupon Book to save more than half on the price of our family admission on the tour.

Next we panned for gold and did our best to find enough to fill a small keepsake necklace. My daughter really enjoyed the activity.

The Straight Shot Shooting Gallery is where everyone in the family can have some fun and take aim at targets.

With many shows and attractions in the town, we didn’t want to miss the Live Reptile Exhibit. The exhibit features many different snakes and lizards found in Arizona.  My daughter loved getting to see rattlesnakes up close safely!

We stopped at the Miner’s Grill and Ice Cream Parlor for a shady place to sit and have ice cream. We used a coupon from the Coyote Coupon Book to get a free ice cream cone and only paid for half of our family order.

The Motherload Mercantile is home to Arizona’s original prickly pear fudge. Just before leaving the town we stopped by to pick up some souvenirs and fudge.  With the Coyote Coupon Book, we doubled our fudge order and also picked up a few candy sticks.

I want to go to Goldfield. We are new to the East Valley and haven’t gone yet.

  2. Wow, the coupons just for Goldfield would be worth buying the book, that place is pretty pricey. I might have to get it for the renaissance fair and my husband could use the harbor freight coupon!
