The major hiking trails in Scottsdale appear to be the Scottsdale’s McDowell Sonoran Preserve and Pinnacle Peak.
There are several other minor trails located in Scottsdale.

USA Today Best 10 says La Hacienda at The Fairmont is rated #1 for best mexican food, where as Travel and Leisure rate Barrio Queen as #1.

When we think of best BBQ, most think of ribs, BBQ pork, etc. Unfortunately, there didn’t seem to be a consensus on best BBQ in Scottsdale, but if you consider hamburgers to be BBQ, you are in luck.
Rehab Burger Therapy is rated among the top restaurants in Scottsdale!
Best Park
McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park has a train and carousel to ride, a gift shop, park, and fun things to learn about trains!
Best Ice Cream
The best ice cream in Scottsdale, voted by East Valley Mom Guide, was Sugarbowl – a cute little old time diner.
Sweet Republic is Google’s favorite ice cream shop in Scottsdale!
Best Splash Pad
The splash pad (or spray pad depending on where you are) at Scottsdale Quarter has been voted the best splash pad in the city of Scottsdale.
Best Farmers Market
East Valley Mom Guide contributors did not have a ‘best of’ in this category.
A Google search brought up Scottsdale Old Town Farmers’ Market (not open in the summer).
Also in that search, I came across Singh Farms and recalled my sister in law claiming this to be the best farmer market she had attended and frequented Singh Farms often.
Best Museum
Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art was rated as the best museum in Scottsdale.
East Valley Mom Guide suggests attending Butterfly Wonderland.
Best Public Pool
East Valley Mom Guide says McDowell Mountain Ranch Aquatic Center is the best public swimming pool in Scottsdale.
